Another video for the Horns of Fury, this one has a pirate theme, think POC meets Dirtgirlworld. It's been a very complex planning process and a manic shoot but we are now into the long and heavy post production part of this epic video. We are working with 2 leading Croatian animators to bring this concept to live: Alan Kichi and Igor Banovic. We hope to release in Feb 2011.
Another Chris Thompson co-production, this is called 'Wake Up Your Face'. Chris has been using proven techniques to keep yourself looking young naturally and without invasive surgery. He's testament to the effectiveness of the routine, available on DVD in Spring 2011.
Fluid Image have just produced a promotional film for rock legend Chris Thompson for his forthcoming 'Rediscovery' project. Shot mostly in New Zealand by Ken Evans, it's being used to attract investors into the planned stage production in 2012.
December saw the release of our latest offering from the SAS Band. Motown 2 Memphis is an elcectic mix of soul and pure groove with some of the music industry's top vocalists including Kiki Dee and Hamish Stuart (Paul McCartney, Chaka Khan, Average White Band) and the fabulous Patti Russo (Meatloaf, Hunchback of Notre Dame) pictured above.
It was back to the 80's to shoot an exciting new video for the band Moritz. This legendary band from the heady AOR days of UK 80's Hair Metal are using the video to promote their current album Undivided. This video was also released by Classic Rock magazine in December 2010.
We recently spent a cold day down at West Wittering Beach to film our entry for the Doritos King of Ads competition. A massive than you to our actors Luke Jaztal and Alex Walker who faught off the cold to give great performances. Shot on our new canon 7D, we all all had a great day, and with the aid of reflectors and a little post production we ended up with a sunny video. It made the top 100 but failed to hit the top spot. New canon 7D kit arrives. We've been out and about testing this camera recently, and also shot a few projects with a few more in the pipeline. So far we have been very impressed with the results and are sure it will become a valuable tool for future projects.
Fluid Image recently directed and crewed a music video for the track No More Girlfriends by top SKA group Danny Fontaine and the Horns of Fury.
